¿Cómo actuar “científicamente” cuando, por ejemplo,
nos duele una mano?
No negar su existencia porque se la considera
material.
Eso sería perpetuar el error.
La mano es la manifestación de una idea. Es
imposible eliminar una creación divina.
Sólo se niega la mortalidad, lo finito y temporal.
O lo que es lo mismo: que ese miembro sea material, menos que perfecto y con la posibilidad de
dañarse y la facultad de envejecer.
Se confunden fácilmente las manifestaciones de las
ideas de la Mente con la materia.
Todo lo que aparece ante los sentidos como tal, en
realidad son imágenes espirituales percibidas incorrectamente.
Por eso, para un conocimiento de la verdadera
identidad sería aconsejable una revisión de Todo desde la auténtica perspectiva.
Sin la miopía de la llamada mente mortal.
Por ejemplo, ¿qué ideas representa una mano?
No la de ofender, atacar, robar, dañar, ser
amputada… Sino la de “dar”, “recibir”, acariciar, abrazar, aplaudir, ayudar,
construir…
Conociendo la idea,
identificaríamos el engaño al instante cuando apareciera agrediendo,
sustrayendo, destruyendo o sufriendo.
Debemos mirar “más allá” de los sentidos “físicos”.
Y descubrir como la idea que llamamos
"cerebro" no es una masa grisácea sino que es el reflejo de la unión,
conexión, armonización y hospedaje de todas las otras ideas. Y de ese modo
contradice siempre todo lo que se relacione con “demencia”, confusión,
ignorancia o pérdida.
Conocer lo que
sustenta cada una de las partes del Todo es una gran ayuda.
Valgan dos muestras:
Saber que “el empleo” nada tiene que ver con
provisión y sí con la manifestación de la actividad continua de Dios facilita
desarrollar nuestro trabajo con confianza y alegría.
Y comprender que el hombre incluye en sí mismo toda
la creación de la Mente, elimina cualquier preocupación o temor acerca de
nuestro sustento o satisfacción de nuestras necesidades.
Por eso pienso que necesitamos confeccionar nuestro
particular diccionario metafísico. La Sra. Eddy inició ese trabajo con el
Glosario que contiene Ciencia y Salud.
Descubrir el universo de las ideas que nos rodean y
somos ( Ciencia y
Salud 468. "Todo es Mente infinita y su
manifestación" ) nos llevará a gozar más y más la Maravilla donde nos movemos y
vivimos: ( Hechos

How do we work
“scientifically” when, for instance, one of our hands hurts?
Not denying its existence because our hand is
considered material. That would mean perpetuating the claim of error.
Our hand is the manifestation of an idea. It is impossible to dispose of a divine
creation. Only mortality, the finite and
temporal, can be denied. In other words,
that the limb could be material, less than perfect, liable to be injured and
with the faculty of getting old.
The manifestations of Mind’s ideas are easily
mistaken for matter. Everything which appears to the senses as such, in fact
are spiritual images wrongly perceived.
That is why, to achieve a knowledge of the true
identity it would be advisable to make a full revision of the Whole starting
from the authentic perspective. Without
the short-sightedness of the so-called mortal mind.
For instance, what ideas does a hand represent?
Not the idea of offending, attacking, stealing,
injuring, or suffering amputation. But
the idea of giving, receiving, caressing, hugging, clapping, helping, building.
Knowing the idea,
we would recognise the deceit instantly, when it appeared attacking,
stealing, destroying, or suffering.
We must look “beyond” our “physical” senses.
And we must discover that the
idea we call “brain” is not a greyish mass but the reflection of the union,
connection, harmonization and lodging of all the other ideas. And in that way, it always contradicts
everything which is related to “insanity”, confusion, ignorance and loss.
Knowing what supports each one of the parts of the
Whole is of great help.
Two examples will suffice:
Acknowledging that “a job” has nothing to do with
provision but with the manifestation of the continuous activity of God, helps
to perform our duty with confidence and joy.
Understanding that man includes in himself all of
Mind’s creation, eliminates any worry or fear about support or the satisfaction of our needs.
That is why I think we need to build up our own
private metaphysical dictionary. Mrs.
Eddy started this job with the Glossary found in “Science and Health with Key
to the Scriptures”.
Discovering the universe of ideas which surrounds
us and which we are (S&H 468:10-11 All is infinte Mind and its infinite manifestation) will make us enjoy more and more the Wonder where we
move and live (Acts 17:28).
